Myzone tracks every ounce of effort you put into exercise by the beat of your heart. This data is then used in a very simple point system, called MEPS (Myzone Effort Points), to give users a sense of satisfaction and achievement. It ensures all of your effort is rewarded.

The solution is not more inspiring music or reading self-help books – the solution is understanding the human reward system and playing into it. Simply put, humans need feedback and instant gratification in order to be encouraged to modify or create a given behavior. Without reward, without a sense of gaining something, why would you want to do anything?

Versatility meets accuracy.

Myzone uses a chest strap for one important reason: accuracy. Wrist-based devices are simply not accurate for exercise that is non rhythmical, at a high intensity, or when the wearer tenses their forearm muscles. Therefore, the data that comes from these devices is inaccurate when boxing, jumping, lifting, or moving in different ways, and inaccurate data is irrelevant. This is why Myzone uses a chest strap – the information collected is 99.4% accurate to an EKG machine and is fit for the purpose of exercise. We believe that you deserve credit for all your effort – so we make sure all of it counts.

What is Summit Zone Functional Training?

Summit Zone Functional Training is a fun and efficient way to get a great workout here in Southern Utah. Teaming up with MyZone we guide you through a great workout geared to keep your body burning calories, building speed, creating better performance, and seeing progress. Depending on the days focus of either Power, Endurance, or Speed & Strength your heart rate will be guided to specific Zones to keep your body from adapting to a specific workout/exercise. Using both our Bluff and River Road locations you can now enjoy all of our Summit Zone Functional Training workouts including Total Zone, HIIT Zone, Tread Zone, Burn 90, Tread & Turf, and now Spin Zone.

WHAT IS HIIT 45?

Summit Zone Functional Training HIIT 45 is a fast paced, 45 minute workout that pushes you to your personal limits. After a thorough 10 minute warm up your body is pushed for 30 minutes between workloads and recoveries. Not only does this assist in increasing your metabolic rate but will also enhance your performance, improves your fitness level, and helps you build confidence in what your body is capable of achieving.

WHAT IS FUNCTIONAL TOTAL ZONE?

Total Zone is totally awesome. Incorporating a full body workout experience using a variety of equipment you will be spending time at different "stations". Each station provides a different and unique workout so you never repeat the same workout day to day. You will use a variety of equipment including Treadmills, Turf, Rowing machine, TRX, Cable Machines, Battle Ropes, Bosu, Dumbbells, Kettlebells, TRX RIP sticks, Medicine Balls and more.

WHAT IS SUMMIT ZONE BURN 90?

This 90 minute workout is designed to push you, burn Calories and have fun. Moving quickly between stations you will be performing a variety of movements utilizing different equipment all while being coached by a Personal Trainer and making sure you get pushed to your potential without overdoing it.

WHAT IS FUNCTIONAL TREAD ZONE?

Have you ever wanted to be better at running? We have got a solution for you. Whatever your current status is, we have you covered. Working at your own pace we guide you by your specific heart rate so we can push you when you need it and help you recover when it is time. Getting coached by the best to keep you engaged and getting the most of your workout. While in a Tread Zone you will see yourself on the Treadmill for the full time of the group training, Tread & Turf you will be spending about 50% of Training time on the treadmill.
