Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT®)
MAT is a powerful assessment process that uncovers and corrects muscular imbalances. When a muscle loses its ability to contract properly the body is not able to produce motion, and therefore is considered to have a limitation in range of motion. If not corrected, these imbalances can lead to muscle/joint tightness, pain, inefficient recruitment patterns and possibly injury. MAT® improves contractile capabilities providing joint stability, increased range of motion and improved muscle function.
